Thank you for your interest in training in one of the most exciting and well rounded Martial Arts in the world! The Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan was originally formed in the early sixties during the formation of the Korea Ki Do Association. In the tradition of the first Hapkido Masters, we have formed the International Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan Association to preserve, promote, and grow this great martial art.

Sun Moo Kwan translates to mean "School of Martial Serenity". Our philosophy is through diligent Martial Arts training we become a positive example for others to follow.

The Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan curriculum is a result of my 30 plus years in the Korean Martial Arts and the countless hours of training and development of techniques and skills. The Hapkido Sun Moo Kwan is recognized by the World Ki Do Federation and the Hanminjok Hapkido Association. The World Ki Do Federation is the world governing body of all traditional Korean Martial Arts. The Hanminjok Hapkido Association is the headquarters for traditional Hapkido in Korea.
